Demand Planner
Permanent
Fully Remote (with occasional travel to Wolverhampton HQ)
35,000 to 40,000 + benefits
We are looking for a robust Demand Planner to join a creative and fast-paced business designing its own products. This is a key hire within their Supply Chain function and offers a genuine opportunity to shape how they do things. You'll be the link between their Commercial (Sales) and Operations teams - translating forecasts into actionable demand plans, refining planning processes and ensuring the business is consistently stocked with the right products at the right time.
Why should I apply?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, design-led manufacturer with a strong track record of innovation and creativity. The business is scaling rapidly with ambitious plans to increase turnover significantly this year, making it a great time to come on board and contribute to that growth. You'll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team where fresh thinking is encouraged and you'll have the autonomy to shape processes and drive real impact. The role offers full remote flexibility with occasional office visits, and the culture combines commercial focus with a fun, energetic atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Sales team to understand order volumes and forecasts
* Analyse, challenge and roll up forecasts into robust demand plans
* Track performance against targets and annual budgets
* Refine and build scalable planning processes
* Develop metrics and reporting tools to guide operational decisions
* Work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Sales Admin, and Logistics
* Scrutinise forecasts and ensure stock alignment with demand
* Balance availability with stockholding-avoid both overstock and out-of-stock
* Rely heavily on Excel, with a focus on simplifying and strengthening existing tools
* Contribute to the development of KPIs and more structured performance metrics
What We're Looking For:
* Strong background in demand planning, supply chain, or purchasing
* Excellent Excel skills - able to build, simplify, and optimise spreadsheets
* Commercially astute - confident challenging optimistic sales forecasts
* Process-minded - able to spot inefficiencies and design improvements
* Strong communicator - comfortable engaging with stakeholders across the business
* A fresh pair of eyes - not afraid to question how things are done
* Analytical and detail-oriented - understands data and how to use it
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG, consumer goods) ideal
* Comfortable working remotely but happy to travel to Wolverhampton occasionally (e.g. quarterly)
