Your responsibilities
Our Graduate Generation Engineering scheme provides graduates with hands-on experience at operational power stations and gas storage facilities. The program aims to develop core skills and understanding of safety, technical, and operational aspects to support a future career in engineering.
We promote practical learning through close work with experienced site engineers, tackling daily challenges involving maintenance, outages, and projects.
We support professional development and support graduates on their path to Chartership, offering mentorship, training, and peer groups.
What to expect:
* Up to four tailored placements across UK power stations, gas storage, or central teams
* Completion of engineering and industrial courses with on-the-job training
* Development of technical, business, and personal skills for your future career
Your profile
* At least a 2:2 (or equivalent) in STEM, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation & Control, or Energy-related degrees
* Hands-on approach and curiosity in engineering
* Driving ability
* Interest in the energy industry, including gas storage and power generation
* Analytical skills, creativity, and teamwork
* Willingness to experience various placements across UK assets
