* Proven experience managing the Workday application from a technical perspective.
* A background in Information Technology, preferably as a Product Owner or within Application Support/Management.
* Experience in ITIL Service Management certification, managing IT in a secure, complex, and highly regulated environment, and people management and leadership.
* A proven ability in stakeholder and vendor management.
* Ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority-changing environment and manage your own workload.
* Initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a number of HR, Payroll, Learning, and IT applications including Workday.
* Deliver a resilient service that meets user requirements and service level agreements.
* Implement application changes in line with IS/IT processes, procedures, and policies to budget, time, and scope.
* Maintain application roadmaps in collaboration with the Senior Application Services Manager and Head of Enterprise Applications.
* Manage the application change backlog and communicate with key business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expectations.
* Provide IT functional consultancy for the applications and manage resources to support them.
* Maintain the IT application configuration baseline and system architecture in accordance with corporate IS/IT specifications.
* Work collaboratively with business relationship managers and customers to prioritize and schedule work.
* Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent levels of engagement, collaboration, and forward planning.
* Contribute to budget planning and fulfill any other reasonable duties aligned with your position.

We are currently recruiting for a Workday Application Owner for our Enterprise Applications group, based in RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. Our package ranges from £48,250 to £65,000, depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience. We operate a 9-day working fortnight and offer hybrid working on an informal, non-contractual basis, typically requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.
