Main Duties and Responsibilities Integrate with all shifts ensuring employees understand and adhere to best practice Make sure all staff behave safely, and you lead by example To coach and mentor QA and QC staff to drive standards forwards To educate and promote food safety and technical standards across the operational teams and coach best practice. Competently liaise with customers and auditors as required. Support all external visits to site. Quality Maintaining all site food safety controls and the due diligence required to demonstrate them. Auditing against the defined internal audit schedule and closing out of non-conformances. Knowledge and adherence to customer specific QAS including driving adherence of site to standards Cost Optimisation Take positive corrective action if product is not meeting specification, including root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence Health and Safety Ensure that you and the team adhere to H&S policies Continuous Improvement Be actively involved with continuous improvement projects and ensure all Quality procedures are followed.
