As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in overseeing complex construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination between teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with You’ll work closely with your Project Director and Project Quantity Surveyor to engage at the earliest opportunity and work proactively on an ongoing basis with suitable supply chain to ensure contractual, operational and commercial expectations and obligations are met and their performance meet the needs and demands of the project. You’ll produce a programme to support your plan based on the PSM’s project programme using software to compile this and as a tool to show progress, record delays and variations. You’ll plan for numerous, complex tasks in an integrated manner that illustrates how they are interlinked. You’ll have previous Project Manager experience with projects typically valuing in excess of £10m - £15m, involving challenging contractual, operational and commercial activities. You'll undertake extensive and detailed programming of the project, using Power Project software, to continually manage, review and update. Programming skills and capabilities will extend to any of the industry recognised construction programme types noted below, with the capability of baseline reporting, critical path analysis, delay analysis including cause and effect; Contract, Construction, Target, Design, Short Term, Completion. You’ll manage an internal project team, typically less than 5 people with 2-3 direct reports, managing your team in line with HR (Human Resources) policies and Company values. You’ll be wholly responsible for all activities on site related to the project requiring little guidance from the Contracts Manager and able to demonstrate initiative and self- reliance.
