We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs for textile machinery, with a primary focus on hemp fiber decortication and cleaning equipment.
* Utilize CAD software (Solidworks preferred, but open to other major 3D CAD packages) to create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings.
* Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
* Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
* Support the transition of designs from concept to production, working closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in Solidworks preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Previous experience or coursework in textile machinery design is a plus but not required.
