Main duties of the job The role of Duty Coordinator will be based within the 111(2) Service providing duty coordination to the Crisis urgent care teams across the Durham Tees Valley area. The role will be to offer clinical support and coordination of workload across the services, supporting and inducting staff in processes and practice within the service, offering clinical and management supervision to the team, develop close working relationships with key stakeholders such as NEAS, monitoring of the KPI's for the service and the implementation of quality assurance measures within the organisation Your role will be to support the staff within the team with complex calls and challenging, rapidly changing situations. You will work as part of a team of people who have a passion for helping those in crisis, where no two days are the same. Professional registration within Mental health, social care or an Allied Professional registration with mental health experience is essential and experience within an urgent mental health care setting is desirable. Full training and induction in the role will be provided.
