The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world. As a Nights Debriefer at our busy Transport Operation in Leighton Buzzard, you will be responsible for managing the night trunks and the drivers in and our of the depot. To be considered for this role you must have a minimum category B Licence with ideally no more than a maximum of 3 points. Starting at 6.30pm youll work a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature. Key Responsibilities: Brief and debrief drivers, ensuring that temperature compliance has been maintained. Allocating vehicles to all Leighton Buzzard HGV routes on Polar Track (in house system). Managing the vehicle movements in the yard, allocating check codes to final mile routes. Managing vehicle and fridge repairs. Downloading driver digital tachograph cards on to the Trutac system. Processing all driver 6 monthly licence checks. Collate fuel and wages information, entering the night driver hours and attendance. Key Skills/Experience/Requirements: A minimum of 2 years driving experience Must hold a B category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points) Team player mentality as well as being able to work on own initiative. Excellent knowledge of the organisation and business area, with a good understanding of the Tachograph Legislation. Good working knowledge of IT packages : Word, Excel, Internet, Intranet. Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
