Main Purpose
Working in the Healthcare (and Industrial) sector across leading NHS Trusts, private medical hospitals, and industrial customers, this role is responsible for the installation, service, and repairs of Bender UK’s (BUK) and third-party clinical products. The products include Operating Lights, Examination Lights, Rigid, Retractable & Articulated Pendants, Audio-Visual Systems, and Operating Tables.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carrying out installation of Bender's clinical portfolio both electrically and mechanically.
2. Carrying out annual service and verification works on BUK clinical install base, including third-party equipment as necessary.
3. Liaising with BUK service department and suppliers to source necessary spares required to fulfill Bender’s maintenance contracts.
4. Supporting customers as necessary.
5. Representing Bender UK in the best light possible through delivering excellent customer service.
6. This role will be on site dealing with end customers, contractors, and hospital staff.
7. Completing thorough job-specific risk assessments and method statements as required to a high standard.
8. Working closely with all departments within Bender UK, promoting cross-functional working and a one-team approach.
Experience & Qualifications
1. Electrician 17th/18th Edition.
2. Clean driving licence.
3. Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS).
4. JIB gold card.
5. SSSTS Card would be preferable.
6. DBS checks will be required.
7. Experience of installing clinical equipment would be advantageous (Op Lights, Pendants, AV Solutions).
