Bridge Technician – Kendal
Salary: £27,711 - £28,624
Hours: 37 hours per week
Workbase: Kendal
Contract: Permanent
We are currently seeking to recruit a Bridge Technician to join our Bridges and Structures team based in Kendal to assist with the management and maintenance of around 2000 highway structures.
The role includes assisting with undertaking condition inspections, monitoring and general stewardship of bridges and other highway structures and to record condition and defects accurately, clearly and consistently in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines.
Ideally you would have knowledge and experience of highways and structures; however, this is not essential as you will be provided with support and training to help you become a valued member of the team. The ability to record defects accurately, clearly and consistently is essential.
