The role will concentrate on the group’s Asset Management business, executing and managing internal audits to support the effective delivery of the Annual Audit Plan. The Audit Assistant Manager’s responsibilities will encompass Risk Assessment and Annual Audit Planning, Internal Audits, Issue Tracking and Validation and Continuous Monitoring. Applicants should hold a professional auditing qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA) and have experience of working in internal audit within an Asset Management or Wholesale Banking environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the risks and controls associated with an asset management business and conducting front office audits of trading desks.
