We have a new opportunity to be part of our Finance team in the role of Reporting Manager.
As a Reporting Manager, you will provide accurate and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transformation of reporting within the AMF1 Finance team and the wider business through modern dashboarding techniques and automation tools that add genuine value.
You will be responsible for:
1. Leading the production of timely, insightful, and accurate management reporting for the business, including monthly performance, quarterly forecasts, and Budgets.
2. Preparing leadership and departmental reporting packs to ensure stakeholders have on-demand access to reliable, insightful reports.
3. Owning the development of a new reporting suite, promoting tools such as Power BI to drive automation and insight across the organisation.
4. Integrating key KPIs, including operational metrics, into dashboards to support Finance Business Partners and other departments in data-led decision making.
5. Supporting the FP&A team with models and reporting for forecasts, budgets, long-range plans (5YP), and implementing new financial reporting tools and software.
6. Taking end-to-end ownership of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system, ensuring accurate forecasting across integrated financial statements.
7. Collaborating with the Business Partnering Function to assess departmental reporting needs, while building strong relationships across the business.
8. Enhancing financial forecasting to include balance sheet and cash flow requirements for short-term planning.
9. Ensuring the integration of FIA cost cap data and outlooks in all reporting to enhance cost control and compliance.
10. Identifying and implementing process and system improvements to drive efficiency and value.
11. Managing and developing a direct report.
12. Supporting Finance Business Partners, the Head of Finance Business Partnering, Head of Financial Regulations, and Head of FP&A with ad hoc business support as required.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
1. CCAB Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
2. Significant management accounting experience
3. Experience in business partnering and financial reporting
4. Demonstrable track record of transforming reporting capabilities and automating processes using Power BI
5. Ideally, prior experience within Formula 1 in a similar role
6. Excellent organisational skills
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with confidence to challenge across departments
8. Analytical mind-set with attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work under time pressure
9. Proficiency in communicating data visually using graphical tools
10. Expert-level Microsoft Excel and Power BI user
11. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
12. Collaborative and enthusiastic approach with a focus on relationship building
13. Curious and proactive attitude with the drive to identify and resolve issues
14. High energy and resilience, capable of juggling multiple priorities
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
