A family is 24/7 and so are we. Orchard uses a rota system to ensure the young people in our homes get the care they need. Our Care Worker posts will suit people who are prepared to work a three-week rolling rota comprising of early and late shifts covering weekdays and weekends. The role requires some ‘sleep-in’ duties.
Right now, we’re looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Workers to join the team at our children’s homes.
ROLE: Residential Support Worker
TYPE: Children’s Home
DAYS: 2 days on shift, then 4 days off - average 10 days per month on a rolling rota
PAY: £28,809.6 - £29,961.6 per annum - Performance-based increments applied following successful probation.

* Diploma Level 4 in children and young people qualification is desired but full training and access to further training/qualifications is provided and encouraged.
* Experience of working with young children is desired but not essential.
* A satisfactory DBS- with the update service.
