The Principal Designer & CDM Advisor Consultant Role
As a Principal Designer & CDM Advisor, you will manage and advise on all design safety risk for the portfolio of projects within the Pre-construction phase. There will be a team of CDM Advisors to support your work. This is a client facing role focused on technical delivery and client satisfaction.
You will collaborate with other design disciplines, plan, manage and co-ordinate health and safety during the pre-construction stage. Share CDM knowledge across all professions, develop and deliver CDM training programmes, CDM workshops and CPD events for designers
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person with drive, enthusiasm and a good knowledge of design and construction to join a Small but growing multi-disciplinary practice.
The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:
• NEBOSH Construction (required)
• Tech IOSH (minimum)
• APS membership (required)
• Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
• Experience: At least 1 years of experience in the UK in a CDM role (required)
• Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
