Registered Residential Care Manager Location: Bingley Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 NEG Performance Related Bonus Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Join us and play a pivotal role in forging a brighter future for every child in our care. We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead the launch of a new provision in Bingley. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to providing children with the best possible start in life in a warm, homely, nurturing, and safe environment. Day-to-day of the role: Take a lead role in ensuring the Statement of Purpose accurately reflects the ethos and stated aims of the home, regularly reviewing and updating it. Oversee the day-to-day running of the Children’s Home, ensuring the safety of young people and managing staff rota in coordination with the Deputy Manager. Lead a team of care workers in line with relevant legislation and guidance. Ensure compliance with Regulations 2015, including matters that require Ofsted notifications. Manage and coordinate the delivery of individual support packages for children and young people. Ensure care plans meet the identified needs of children, are regularly reviewed, and are outcome-focused. Achieve good outcomes for young people within the home, meeting their physical, psychological, emotional, and social development needs. Oversee recruitment and retention of staff to ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and National Minimum Standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last five years. Proven track record of leadership and direct management experience of supervision, appraisals, and staff development for at least one year. Desirable: Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification. Experience as a Social Worker in the Children’s Sector or as a Deputy Manager looking to step up would also be considered.
