Please be aware that this position has a six-month fixed-term contract, albeit it may be extended This new role will support One YMCA in it’s commitment to make a difference in the local area through the services it delivers and the partner organisations it works with. Working closely with team members in the fundraising, marketing and comms team, as well as the wider organisation you will be organising and hosting corporate volunteer and community engagement events, to build relationships and raise awareness, support and substantial amounts of vital funds for the organisation. Flexibility, passion, innovation and drive will be key in this role as the location, day and time will be dependent on events being organised and attended. The Role: • Work with service area teams to identify opportunities for corporate volunteer activities. • Liaise between corporate companies and local organisation, and our service area teams to promote, plan and host corporate volunteer events. • Work with the MCF team and wider organisation to identify, plan, promote and attend community engagement events. • Work with Manager and the marketing division to maximise reach and engagement, and revenue generation on all Corporate Volunteer and Community Engagement events. • Liaise with suppliers to obtain uniform, print and merchandise quotes and placed orders. • Use the finance system to raise purchase orders and update once delivered. • Support fundraising team to identify, complete and submit funding applications. • Capture high quality still and moving images for use on website, social media and printed literature.
