Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a talented Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for identifying fire hazards and risks, record your findings and advise on fire prevention. You will have the ability to work carefully to follow strict fire safety legislation and guidelines set by the government and fire and rescue services.
Responsibilities
* Carry out fire risk assessments on the organisations residential properties.
* Keep up to date with any changes in legislation and fire safety guidelines.
* Produce in-depth written reports to show your findings from the assessment you've completed.
* Promote good fire safety practices with tenants and ensure the effective day to day management of the fire safety within residential and communal areas.
* Assist with monitoring and maintaining the organisations fire risk assessment programme and database.
About you
* Ability to manage your diary with complete autonomy.
* Experienced in carrying out fire risk assessments.
* Fire related qualification or professional membership (E.g. IFE, NEBOSH).
* Good attention to detail.
* Proficient written communication skills for report writing.
* Technical understanding relating to fire safety.
