As a Programmes Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering essential property development and repairs for schools across the county. Your expertise will help create safe and inspiring learning environments for students and staff alike.

Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
2. Coordinating with the surveying team to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Managing budgets and timelines to deliver successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
* Assist in the control of expenditure on maintenance programmes/budgets and the review of monitoring systems, analysing correspondence, reports, and any other incoming data to formulate and maintain effective budgetary control for the Maintenance Team.
* Provide a range of administrative support, i.e., day to day office management, initiation and co-ordination of responses to client and contractor issues, organisation, minuting of meetings, collation of information/drafting of reports arising from meetings with Contractors/Clients. Active involvement in monitoring and review meetings.
* Effective use of information technology including development of systems and programmes for report production, records for maintenance, minor capital projects and cost expenditure information.
* Provide timely information, including the receipt, allocation and monitoring of planned and reactive maintenance programmes, Capital and Minor Improvement Programmes and Projects.
* Preparation of surveyor workload/programme forecasting figures. Liaising with Building/Engineering Surveyors, Clients and contractors to ensure delivery of maintenance/minor capital schemes.
* Arrange surveyor call out rota for non-school emergency maintenance.
* Production of official orders on SAP, specifications, tenders, letters and reports for the Maintenance Consultancy.
* Passing of invoices to accounts for payment.
What we're looking for:
* Demonstrable experience monitoring and controlling of programmes/project budgets.
* High standard of written and oral communication skills.
* A proficient level of Excel skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* High standard of planning and organization skills.
* The ability to meet deadlines, show initiative, and handle competing demands.
* A keen interest and commitment to IT within the role.
* Working with Microsoft Office software including Excel.
* Drafting reports and correspondence.
* Working under own initiative on project work.
* To be well organized and efficient.
