As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.
Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams around the Dorset area.
Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £23.00 to £35.62 per hour.
Responsibilities:
* Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
* Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
* Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.
* Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
* Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
* Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
* Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse Role Requirements:
* 6 months NMC Registration.
* 6 months experience in A&E - able to provide 2 references for verification.
* Up to date CV covering 10 years work history and skills.
* Full EPP Clearance of Immunisations.
* Right to work within the UK - Documented proof will be required.
