Job Description: We are seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to join our wonderful client's team of professionals in the role of a Band 6 Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. The post holders will provide Psychology services, including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents. Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients and their families. Provide direct clinical interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental difficulties. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams within CAMHS, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery. Write clear and concise psychological reports documenting assessment findings, treatment plans, and recommendations for ongoing care. Provide consultation and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents. Requirements: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). BACP, BABCP, UKCP accredited BSc/MSc registered Art/Music/Play Therapist or Psychotherapist - will accept nearly qualified. Experience working with children and young people Experience in teaching, training and/or supervision. Expertise in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting the well-being of children and adolescents with mental health needs.
