The Role Apprentice Hire Desk Administrator:
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our JP Rentals Team at our Grangemouth Depot. Under the supervision of the Depot/Rentals Manager, you will gain hands-on experience, training, and support to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 6) in Business & Administration. This 12-month apprenticeship is designed to provide valuable administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Depot while also helping you develop essential skills in business and customer service. Responsibilities include:
* Customer Service: Develop the skills to confidently handle customer queries, prioritising communications based on urgency and escalating when necessary.
* Product Knowledge: Learn about our Rentals Fleet and accessories, enabling you to convert customer enquiries into profitable hires.
* Fleet Operations Support: Assist with the collection, delivery, and movement of rental fleet, gaining insight into fleet logistics and management.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, resolving any issues related to hires professionally and efficiently.
* Team Collaboration: You’ll have the opportunity to learn from others while contributing to the success of the team.
* Hire Processes: Learn and ensure adherence to the company's hire and off-hire procedures, ensuring smooth operations for all rentals.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Gain a clear understanding of health and safety legislation, and how it impacts the work environment.
* Record Management: Learn how to manage both electronic and manual records, including filing and archiving, to ensure the smooth running of operations.
* Additional Duties: Support the Depot/Rentals Manager with any tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive continuous support, feedback, and coaching from our experienced team members. Regular monitoring of both on-the-job and theoretical learning will help you progress and succeed in your role.
