You will take the lead on pivotal Wessex Water projects, bridging preconstruction, design, commercial, and delivery teams. Stay proactive You will oversee design deliverables, set realistic stretch goals, and check for quality along the way. Collaborate with multiple teams (Operations, Matrix, Commercial, Supply Chain) to create robust project plans with realistic cost estimates, risk strategies, and delivery timelines. Enhance profitability by optimising designs and placing key subcontract agreements early in the process. Coordinate across internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of Civil & MEICA components. Join forces with pre-construction and operational teams for a seamless handover once projects kick off Why You'll Excel: You will bring clarity to complex, multi-team projects by: Breaking down technical and buildability challenges into actionable solutions. Developing smart procurement strategies and working collaboratively to maximise value from subcontractors and supply chains. You will also ensure early involvement from essential teams like H&S, Quality, and Environmental experts, to deliver complete, compliant designs that are ready to hit the ground running.
