Therole
We are lookingfor a dynamic and passionate practitioner, providing high qualitycurrent care throughout the perioperative environment. You willhave experience in one/two of the following disciplines, Scrub orAnaesthetics and Recovery. Scrub experience is essential inelective Orthopaedics and/or electiveOphthalmology.
You’ll alsohave access to the Ramsay Academy, with potential to gain your SFAqualification, and the chance to develop your career across our 30+network of independent hospitals across the UK. Like us, you have acan do attitude, and you’re committed to delivering the highestquality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where youwill be valued for your skills andexpertise.
Whereyou’ll bebased
TheCherwell Hospital was purpose built in 2006 and has been designedto combine an exceptional standard of patient accommodation withthe technical equipment and facilities that modern medicinedemands.
Wehave three laminar air flow theatres and a newly builtOphthalmology suite housing a Surgicube. It is a 40-bed inpatientunit and day-case facility predominantly specialising inOrthopaedic and Ophthalmology Surgery.
TheCherwell Hospital is part of the Ramsay Health Care group andprovides clinical care to private, insured and NHSpatients.
Whatyou’ll bring withyou
* NMC/HCPCRegistered
* PreviousOrthopaedic and/or Ophthalmic Scrub. And/or Anaesthetics &Recovery experienceessential.
* Surgical FirstAssist Qualification (SFA) is desirable, but notessential
* Flexibility andadaptability to meet the changing needs of thebusiness
* A passion fordelivering an excellent patient-focusservice
* Strong organisationskills and attention todetail
* Excellent timemanagement
* Sound written andverbal communicationskills
* Proven ability towork effectively in a team environment and independently asrequired
