We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to help provide the communication, support, and tools for our Commercial teams to delight customers and realize our business strategy.
You will be accountable for:
* Service analysis and communication
o Providing regular transparency on service issues – the scale, why they happened, and what is being done to resolve them – ready framed for client conversations
* Client Escalations
o Helping Client Managers know how to identify specific client issues using the available reports and data, and raising these issues to the appropriate level
o Providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis support and attending client meetings or calls to present this where required
* Operational Efficiency
o Highlighting operational client issues to Client Managers and ensuring appropriate actions are in place to tackle recurring issues
* Client Manager data / reports
o Making sure client managers either have the data available to self-solve service issues, or work with the various data and BI teams across the business to locate and surface the required data
o Identifying reporting or data improvements and engaging the right teams across the business to address these
* Commercial Operations KPIs
o Creating and maintaining KPI reports to track success of business actions and to drive the right behaviours where KPIs are not being met
* Role / Team
o Building collaborative relationships across the business and with the Commercial teams to facilitate your delivery of the above role
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
* Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team and establish effective working relationships at all levels of the business
* Highly numerate, skilled and experienced in data analysis, MS Excel, and Office
* Skills in more technical data software is useful but not essential (e.g. Business Objects, Tableau, SQL)
* Ability to share knowledge in an engaging way and help coach and develop skills in others
* Previous Logistics or Retail industry experience preferred but not essential
* Good commercial awareness and understanding of our clients’ customer-centric focus
* Ideally educated to degree level or demonstrate relevant business experience
* Full clean driving licence as role may require travel to operational sites
