Role Overview
The candidate will become part of our Delivery Team undertaking various planned maintenance and reactive/repair tasks to our many high-profile client properties throughout Northern Ireland.
What you'll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive
1. Routine inspections and testing of electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures and fittings.
2. Respond to fault call requests.
3. Diagnose faults and identify solutions.
4. Carry out repair and replacement work.
5. Keep accurate records.
6. Always work safely and to current best working practice and standards.
What you’ll bring
As a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) your main skills and experience will include:
Essential Criteria
7. Electrical qualifications – demonstratable successful completion of electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds or NVQ type)
8. Demonstratable experience as an Electrician
9. Full driving licence
10. Competent to carry out electrical testing of new installation works and alterations to existing installations.
11. Multi skilled to assist with day-to-day reactive calls.
Desirable Criteria
12. Level 3 Testing & Inspection
13. Competence working on commercial and industrial electrical systems.
14. Strong problem-solving skills.
15. Good communication skills.
