Responsibilities:
* Able to prepare/cook all advertised menu items
* Confidently bake scones and ideally cakes & pastries
* Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of food
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper storage and labelling of ingredients
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and coffee lounge
* Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties in both the kitchen & coffee lounge
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role
* Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety (or above) compulsory
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail and understanding of our ‘First Class’ ethos
* Willingness to learn
* Ability to follow instructions accurately
* Ability to use initiative when working as part of a team and also independently
* High professional standards and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
* Capable of navigating a drama-free workplace, prioritising teamwork and respect in all interactions
* Excellent communication skills
* Available to work Fridays & Saturdays (essential)
