Job summary We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Worcester City PCN. This new role is an exciting opportunity to support the PCN in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while optimising medicine management across GP practices and care homes. As a PCN Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, cost-effective, and evidence-based use of medicines. Main duties of the job Conduct patient-facing and patient-supporting roles, including medicines optimisation and reviews. Perform medication reconciliations for care home residents and community patients. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve prescribing practices and reduce waste. Support initiatives such as antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement projects. Deliver training on the safe handling of medicines and Electronic Prescription Service. Provide leadership in medicines management across the PCN.
