12 Month Maternity Cover Contract
My client, a dynamic membership body operating in a fascinating sector, is currently recruiting for a Membership Manager for a 12-month maternity cover.
The Role
The Membership Manager role is an integral part of the membership team working across both member retention and recruitment, including subscription renewals.
Responsibilities
1. To promote and raise awareness of the benefits of membership and improve engagement with all members.
2. Develop relevant membership relationships for member companies, including maintaining and updating member records, encourage engagement on relevant groups and events, arrange regular updates where relevant.
3. Understand and speak confidently to stakeholders about the organisation.
4. Manage member communications including responding to member queries.
5. Help manage the Engagement Tracker and highlight and action where members need more encouragement/support.
6. Support the Head of Outreach and Engagement and Director of Membership on the smooth transition of new members into membership for the first year and carry this relationship on.
7. Co-ordinate actions of the onboarding process for new members including attending all calls, ensuring the new members are engaging, on relevant groups and attending events, and helping to obtain POs and send invoices.
8. Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Person Specification
1. A good knowledge of marketing, management, administration, planning, budgeting, finance, market research, and member relationship management skills and techniques.
2. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, members, and suppliers.
3. Strong project management and organisational skills.
4. Good written and oral communication skills.
5. IT literate: Familiar with using word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and web applications including email. Zoho CRM and Analytics desirable.
