These posts are to be deployed within this Centre and across the wider school. We are seeking three enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join us in these pivotal roles. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of emotional, social, and behavioural needs, ensuring that they have the opportunity to engage fully in their education. You will work closely with teachers, learning support staff, and external agencies to provide tailored interventions and help create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and group support for students with SEMH needs. Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised education plans (IEPs). Encourage student participation, engagement, and self-confidence in their learning. Implement behaviour management strategies to support students in maintaining positive behaviour. Collaborate with staff and external professionals to develop strategies that support student wellbeing and academic progress. Support the development of social and emotional skills in a school setting. Ensure students feel safe, supported, and understood in a structured, calm environment. Person Specification Experience working with students with SEMH or other additional needs is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. A compassionate, patient, and resilient nature. A commitment to improving the life chances and wellbeing of students. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A flexible approach and the ability to think on your feet.
