Reed HR are proud to be recruiting for a HR Administration for a rapidly growing Cardiff based organisation. You will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain and update the HR system and employee files to ensure accuracy and currency of data. Support the management of sickness/absence and provide support to managers as required. Liaise with managers to arrange disciplinary/absence review meetings and ensure the correct paperwork is issued. Conduct Right to Work checks and ensure relevant documentation is collected and saved. Assist the HR team with drafting letters and note-taking during meetings. Process changes to employee terms and conditions, including job title, hours, salary, promotions, and bonuses. Manage leaver administration effectively, including conducting Exit Interviews and notifying the Payroll Team. Work with the HR Team to review and update HR Policies and Procedures as required. Provide telephone advice to Line Managers and support the Recruitment function during recruitment drives. Undertake the vetting process for all new starters, including issuing references and completing DBS and credit checks. Respond to all external reference requests ensuring compliance with internal policies. Support the HR Team in the onboarding of new starters. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and be proactive. Experience in HR administration or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with HR systems and procedures. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
