We are recruiting x permanent Approved Mental Health Professionals for our Mental Health Adult Social Care team. The team provides comprehensive health and social care services to residents, working under the Care Act alongside NHS colleagues. Managers are responsible for line management and support of social care staff only.
Cheshire West has awarded our AMHPs an AMHP supplement of £ per year, paid on top of their salary on a pro-rata basis, as an interim arrangement until March.

We seek dedicated, motivated team players to join us as AMHPs working in line with the Mental Health Act. Our AMHPs are vital in supporting people by promoting the least restrictive approach to mental health recovery.
You will have the opportunity to:

You will have:
* Experience managing high-risk, complex cases and safeguarding adults
* Experience working in a mental health team with understanding of relevant legislation
* Requirement to undertake an enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List check
* Understanding of services for mental health needs
* Effective communication skills with customers, carers, and families
* Ability to adapt positively to change and promote beneficial changes
* Awareness of multidisciplinary working and an integrated approach
* Skills in assessment and support planning according to legislation
* A self-motivated attitude with a passion for adult social care
* Resilience and effective stress management skills
