Our Compliance teams play a crucial role in ensuring that NFU Mutual adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of integrity and transparency. This department is responsible for providing regulatory support to business areas and providing assurance that the company complies with laws, regulations, and internal policies, which helps protect NFU Mutual's reputation and ensures that the company operates ethically and responsibly. As Personal Assistant to our Head of Compliance, your key responsibility is to deliver effective and efficient administrative and coordination support. You’ll also provide general administrative support to the wider team such as arranging meetings, events, travel and accommodation, as well as managing correspondence and documentation to ensure timely and appropriate responses. You’ll use your judgement to know when to prioritise and escalate communications ensuring time is used effectively. Further key duties are: Prepare, store, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations accurately and confidentially. Coordinate recruitment and selection processes in line with policies. Track and manage budgets and expenses for compliance and reporting. Oversee health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Arrange IT, office equipment, and supplies as needed. About youYou have existing administrative experience and possess an enthusiastic, ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn. Your excellent communication skills enable effective engagement with various stakeholders. You must be a highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and possess great attention to detail when handling correspondence, scheduling and document preparation. Accuracy is also essential, and you have strong decision-making skills to support prioritisation, problem solving and taking initiative when required.
