Description The Bill of Materials Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of BOMs and their execution within the ERP planning and manufacturing systems. This position interfaces between internal teams and co-packers to ensure a clear understanding of our product requirements. Products include collectible trading cards and non-sports entertainment toys/novelties. Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to: Development of all Bills of Material (BOMs) within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team’s product descriptions / notes. Responsible for the execution and completion of Brand requirements from planning to production scheduling. Actively communicate across all business units to effectively coordinate planning operations between Brand Management and Project Management. Ensure all new items are set up in Oracle properly and meet all timelines required throughout the development, purchasing and sales processes. Ensure that product BOMs are developed on time and accurately to support in-system RFQs, manufacturing and costing. Assist Department Manager in development of process improvements for the product specification, BOM, and ERP manufacturing processes. Responsible for managing specific product groups as assigned by Planning Lead and possess system discipline from BOM creation to closure. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent Excel knowledge and skills, including lookups, data validation and macros. Proven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine priorities. Strong math background and numerical reasoning skills. Good written, oral and interpersonal and communication skills. Fundamental understanding of MRP manufacturing. Working knowledge of print manufacturing processes and technology a plus. Experience using Oracle EBS Advanced Supply Chain Planning and Discrete Manufacturing desired.
