We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Reactive Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and oversee the maintenance of our social housing properties. Key Responsibilities: Manage Reactive Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of reactive maintenance, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of maintenance issues. Inspection and Assessment: Conduct regular inspections of properties, identify maintenance needs, and prioritize repair works. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance operatives and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations. Quality Control: Ensure all maintenance works are completed to the required standard and within agreed timelines. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including progress reports, costings, and completion timelines. Customer Service: Liaise with tenants and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the social housing sector, particularly in reactive maintenance. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Knowledge: Excellent understanding of responsive repairs, planned works, and project management. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction or property maintenance (e.g., SSSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness). Driving License: Full UK driving license.
