PMAC Inspection is a member of the PMAC Group of companies who specialise in flow assurance products and subsea corrosion inspection and integrity services to the Offshore Oil, Gas, Windfarms, and related industries. Using our extensive in-field experience, we design, engineer and build specialised equipment as well as providing specialised inspection services globally.
PMAC are looking to hire someone to join our small team on a permanent full-time basis involved with the complete lifecycle of the company's newly expanding range of products, from design to assembly/manufacture and ongoing service at customer facilities.
Primarily based at our Aberdeen facility but with a significant overseas field/travel element, potentially including offshore at Oil & Gas facilities and onboard vessels, which will require time spent away from home on a worldwide basis for which additional remuneration and/or lieu time is available.

Duties
Duties will include but are not restricted to:
1. To perform assembly and FAT to company procedures for products that are sold by the company.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance of customer owned PMAC made equipment returned for service at our facilities.
3. Perform service visits and installations on PMAC made equipment at customer facilities worldwide.
4. Prepare equipment for dispatch including all necessary paperwork.
5. Provide input into and preparation of generic written schemes of examination and generic maintenance/refurbishment procedures for various product lines.
6. Perform periodic maintenance work on PMAC internal plant & equipment as dictated by general maintenance procedures.
7. To ensure that all activities are undertaken safely and to ensure that HSE legislation, company processes, policies and procedures are implemented and followed at all times.
8. Carry out troubleshooting of failed equipment and quarantine items as appropriate.
9. Observe, dismantle and troubleshoot devices and equipment.
10. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
11. Repair or replace defective parts.
12. To perform any other assigned project work as allocated by Management.
13. Ensure all required equipment certification is current and up to date, as per manual and maintenance procedures.
14. Assist with inspection, maintenance, repair and testing of rental equipment in accordance with procedures.
15. Ensure all hire equipment is fit for purpose and ready for project operational requirements.
16. Work with other personnel and the management team on production of drawings, 3D models & create technical documents to project specifications.
17. Provide input to complete transfer of concepts into production ready documentation.
It is expected that the personnel would spend between 30 and 50 days per year travelling offshore/overseas for periods of between 5 to 28 days at a time. This may include time spent on Vessels/Platforms as well as at Client Lab facilities onshore.
Training including external training to international standards, such as CSWIP, will be provided as necessary and relevant to the job.
Requirements
The candidate shall have a background in either electronics or mechanical systems and be able to fault diagnose across various systems. You will help to continually improve the maintenance techniques for improved efficiency within the company ensuring all health and safety guidelines and PMAC procedures are being followed at all times.
Undergraduate Degree, Polytechnic Diploma, Higher National ITE, HND, Higher Apprenticeship or other similar level of Qualification. Suitable fields include Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or related technical field such as Industrial or Engineering Design. Outstanding candidates with any qualifications will be considered if sufficient technical aptitude is displayed.
* Ability to read and create schematics and GA DWG's

* Hydraulic or electrical experience is beneficial
