Salary:Up to£62,000 commensurate on skills and experience
What you’ll bedoing:
* Work with the Senior Commercial Manager to overseeand deliver £80m of business in our Under Water Weapons (UWW)sector within the Products group with the BAE Systems MaritimeServices business unit
Operate atboth a strategic and tactical level through the direct ownership ofdelivering the commercial aspects of specific projects as well asacting as the deputy to the UWW Senior Commercial Manager Provideguidance and support to ensure high levels of both operational andfunctionalperformance Providehands on commercial management within complex domestic and exportbids and projects
* Leadnegotiations, develop pricing and business winning strategies andobtain internal approvals
As one ofthe senior members of the Products commercial team you will play anactive role in the management and development of the overallcommercial team
* Develop,maintain excellent working relationships with both internal andexternal customers andstakeholders
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential:
* Established Commercial background with strongcommercial/contractual skills gained from a commercialcareer
In depthprofessional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques, andpractices with an understanding of how Commercial roles fit into anorganisation as a whole Comfortable with working with both detailedcontractual issues as well as broader holistic strategic objectives Stronganalytical and numerical skills and proficient with all MicrosoftOffice products and confident presenting and communicationskills
