Responsible To: The Senior Leadership Team – Newingate School
We are seeking an ‘all-round’ curriculum tutor to join our team, who has the willingness, confidence and ability to work with a range of our students both on and off site, including possibly within the family home or online, to maintain continuity of provision and reintegration back into school.
We are looking for colleagues who are enthusiastic, innovative, committed, highly motivated, and positive role models. Those with prior experience or training in the Primary or SEND sectors will be well prepared for tutoring our students. We aspire to GCSE (or equivalent) outcomes for our students, so those with secondary training or tutoring experience are just as welcome and encouraged to apply.
We are committed to offering a full and broad curriculum across the provision that enables excellent outcomes for our students. If you have the experience and drive to lead on a specific element of provision, we will offer the opportunity and support to do so. The willingness to tutor subjects beyond that in which you are primarily trained to teach is essential.
