The Position Job Title: Apprentice Project Co-ordinator Apprenticeship Course: Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Duration: 24 months EPA Location: Peterborough PE2 Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm Salary: £17,000 Role and Responsibilities: As an Apprentice Project Coordinator, you will support and collaborate with all coordination functions with the Project Management Office. You will provide support to ensure that the business pipeline of works is effectively planned, programmed and prioritised working with Design and Build. The responsibilities of the Apprentice Project Coordinator include: · Conduct weekly reviews of build status cancellations, assessing their impact on Ready For Service (RFS) timelines and proposing any challenges to cancellations · Handle status change enquiries, ensuring validation before approval · Continuously data validation exercise across all build delivery outputs, maintaining data integrity and accuracy · Supports weekly PMO reporting, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights · Provides PMO support to Network build by resolving documentation issues and creating work packages for approval · Identify foreseeable project risks and escalate to Senior Project Coordinator · Providing general coordination support to the PMO as required Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Good communicator, able to interact clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with support. Ability to support solutions input to complex problems/challenges. Ability to assess conflicting data to produce an informed output analysis for review. Negotiation, communication, and people relationship skills. Ability to progress to be able to conduct professional presentations to internal stakeholders. Ability to manage costs and budgets to agreed targets. Full driving licence. (Requirement) To be successful in this role you need to be able to demonstrate as a minimum: · Ability to gain an understanding of end-to-end Project Management methodology’s, incorporating client/business contractors, procurement and network design · Ability to develop project coordination skills across all aspects, from inception to delivery and handover · Ability to demonstrate an understanding of planning and controlling complex, multi-workstream projects · Demonstrate the ability to devise and deliver mitigations to address key risks · The ability to use MS Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint to an intermediate level · Telecoms experience would be beneficial but not required Eligibility Criteria Individuals must have a valid and eligible residency status to apply for this role.
