Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a MRB Coordinator to join our team based at our office in Staverton, Gloucester to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
This role is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
What will you be doing?
You’ll provide technical and administrative support to the MRB (Material Review Board) Team.
You’ll coordinate the investigation into non-conforming products and be responsible for the subsequent control/scrapping and documentation process. In addition, you’ll produce and oversee all performance metrics within the MRB team.
The MRB team report to the Deputy Operations Quality Manager within the wider Quality Engineering function within Ontic.
What will you need to know?
You’ll need to have experience working within an Engineering or Manufacturing business in a role which utilises administrative skills. We hire people for their potential and we’re very open regarding what your current role might be; for example, you may be working in an administrative function, a stores function, or an operational function.
The most important attributes for success as our MRB Coordinator are excellent administrative and organisational skills; the ability to navigate through problems to find solutions; and the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different areas of a business fit together.
If you have experience of working in an Aerospace business, particularly with non-conforming products and ERP tools, then you’ll have a distinct advantage though this isn’t essential for the right person.
