You’re not just looking for a career, you’re looking to make a difference. Millions of people rely on us every day to help them live their lives, power their businesses, and keep their public services running.
About this role
Our Support Technicians look after service in the Field, working on-site with our diverse range of customers, from small local businesses to large FTSE 100 corporate organisations. As a Customer Support Technician, you will work in the Field day-to-day and have direct exposure to our customers. You will attend customer sites to help with installations where engineering support is required to set-up, install, and carry out non-complex and simple repairs.
You will confidently discuss ideas and problems a customer may have in connection to the BT portfolio, ensuring customer services and solutions are set up and optimised. You will also make recommendations on new digital product and service solutions.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology. Behaviour is more important to us, so if you have a proactive attitude and love having great conversations, apply today!
About the apprenticeship you’ll study for
This apprenticeship will last 18 months, with a minimum of 20% of your working hours dedicated to learning and studying, including one “study day” a week. At the end, you will gain a level 3 qualification in Information Communication.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (a C or above), including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted. This is a field role requiring travel, so you’ll need a full manual driving licence with no more than six points. You can apply even if you do not hold a licence right now, but you must pass your test no later than one month before your start date.
All applicants will need a full UK Right to Work for the duration of their scheme (18 months).
