Job Description
Legal and General Asset Management are currently looking to hire a Trade Services Senior Analyst to proactively partner with outsource provider to ensure delivery of operational service targets.
The primary function of the Trade Services function is to ensure all retained services and outsourced activities across Equity, Money Market, Repo, Fixed Income, FX and Transfers is effectively managed and processed in accordance with market deadlines and industry best practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality control.
What you'll be doing:
1. Monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly.
2. Proactive ownership and investigation of queries/issues that may arise, escalating and reporting any inconsistencies to supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
3. Proactively identifying control weaknesses relating to trade services operating model and recommend and implement procedural and process change in partnership with team members, manager, and outsourced provider where applicable.
4. Ensuring end to end understanding of all operational tasks and how they relate and impact all processes. Ensure standard ways of working are applied consistently.
5. Creating and reviewing procedures that reflect processes, policies and any workflows that are needed to support the trade services process and activities for retained and outsourced services.
6. Managing operational risk and issues within team and outsourced provider, regularly reviewing and identifying further opportunities for risk mitigation; ensure all functional procedures are in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Engaging secondary service recipients (Client Service, Investments, and other Operational Teams) to ensure the service delivery is achieving standards for today and future business levels.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
1. Previous experience in the asset management industry/experience relevant to role and activities performed.
2. Strong knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations.
3. Experience in working with and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery.
4. Client focused and able to liaise with all levels of seniority internally and externally.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, KPI’s, KRIs and Service Levels.
6. Flexible and able to adapt to changes in the process and procedures.
7. Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it.
8. Strong influencing skills in managing relationship/client service engagement.
