This transformation will consist of expert fragrance teams creating unmissably superior fragrances that are affordable by design. JOB PURPOSE To deliver this ambition, you will lead the Fragrance Science Technology Programme within the Unilever Fragrance Team to ensure that we a have fruitful upstream pipeline of ingredient and benefit-led technologies to deliver u nmissably superior fragrances, at affordable cost, across Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing and Home Care. The successful candidate will report to the Unilever Fragrance Vice President. RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for defining and leading the One Unilever Fragrance Science Technology Programme by: Collaborat ing with business group R&D partners who are e xploring upstream ingredients and benefit-led technologies, t o ensure x-business group applicability and thus maximise One Unilever Fragrance Innovation opportunities Developing strategic partnerships with external partners to establish and maintain a One Unilever Fragrance Ecosystem enabling programme delivery Engaging and aligning key stakeholders to ensure the programme enables Fragrance Innovation opportunities at a One Unilever level You will be responsible for landing the One Unilever Fragrance Science Technology Programme through the business groups to ensure tangible business impact and delivery. ALL ABOUT YOU We are looking for an exceptional individual with the right attitude, mindset, and competencies to drive the One Unilever Fragrance Science Technology Programme within the Unilever Fragrance Team. The individual should have experience of driving strategic technology programmes (ideally fragrance) within the FMCG sector or within a Fragrance House. The individual should have a proven track record of: Excellent thought leadership skills - envisioning a better future and then defining and operationalising the programme, that enables them and the wider team, to create that future Strong stakeholder management skills - positively influences stakeholders to gain support and sponsorship of a transformational programme Innovation management skills - driven a project/programme from inception through to portfolio implementation and market launch Technology development skills - connecting consumer insight with technical possibilities to define and deliver innovations of the future Excellent collaboration skill - partnering with technical partners, multifunctional colleagues, f ragrance ev aluators, perfumers and Fragrance Houses to deliver innovations that step-change impact for the consumer You will be c omfortable with transformation and change, and willing to drive transformation in your area of responsibility. You will apply a 'digital mindset' towards your way of working to ensure that data and insights are captured, maximised and used across the business.
