Fusion Assets, NLP LLP NLC15 £59,075 - £64,782 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high performing and experienced manager to join our small but pivotal team, in this key role which will provide leadership and strategic oversight of contract management, governance arrangements and relationship management for the current and future Enterprise Contracts ensuring they deliver the intended and required outcomes. Working with us, in our Assets & Procurement leadership team, you will share our ambition for our communities and join us in ensuring contract management which supports these ambitions and the priorities of the Council. Working closely with our client delivery teams, you will ensure that the Enterprise Contracts are effectively implemented and managed. In this exciting and influential leadership role you will be responsible for ensuring robust contract management and assurance which reflect best practice and ensures compliance with corporate governance arrangements and standards. To be a success in this role you will have demonstrated leadership skills, be innovative, solutions focused, with an agile approach to work. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality services to our citizens and communities and you will promote the Council’s vision, values and reputation. With a Degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, and ideally membership of an appropriate Professional Institute, you will have substantial knowledge and experience in a within a relevant field including contract management /development and contract governance and assurance combined with a solid understanding of risk identification and management. You will have a proven ability in project management to achieve agreed outputs and benefits realisation within agreed budgets. You will have sound negotiating and influencing skills along with a proven track record of working collaboratively with other services and external parties. With an ability to plan, manage, track and communicate progress you will be able to manage competing demands and possess a high level of professional integrity. It is vital that you can develop effective working relationships with both internal and external partners. With excellent organisational and IT skills, you will be able to utilise various Microsoft Office packages, and be a clear written and verbal communicator, with the ability to analyse information and produce reports and with experience of presenting information in public forums You must be able to travel throughout North Lanarkshire and also outwith this area to undertake the duties of this post.
