The venue has played host to some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including six ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures in 2019, Ashes Test Matches and world class concerts. It’s a unique place to build a career where no two days are ever the same Key Responsibilities To support our ambitions to achieve continued growth in the C&E Team we are looking for an experienced Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for: To co-ordinate all event details and produce a function sheet for all events in order to exceed the clients’ expectations. This includes but is not limited to managing client timings, menu options and special diets, signage, and working with clients’ suppliers (AV, décor, entertainment) To support sales team facilitating show-rounds with potential clients to show them our facilities, successfully converting enquiries Conduct Post Event Calls/follow ups and generate feedback and analysis on all events with a view to improving the overall service standard of EOT Ensure clients minimum contracted numbers are achieved Promotion of our facilities to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach To manage Internal meeting requests as and when required Regular and effective communication between all relevant departments Assisting in implementing the sales strategy for encouraging repeat business and up-selling Cover Operations Managers when necessary in relevant duties Essential Requirements Excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to be able to meet strict deadlines and coordinate multiple events of varying sizes Ability to deliver high standards of customer service Good Communicator - i.e. verbal and written Flexible in approach Ability to work under pressure IT Literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly in word and Excel. A working knowledge of Delphi would be very useful.
