Job Title: Sales Executive/Business Development Manager
Location: Leeds (office based)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Uncapped Commission OTE £45,000
Based in Leeds, we are a young and dynamic import company, with our own successful brands of mass market Skincare and Beauty products. We are established within high street retailers and pharmacy chains, both in the UK and global markets. We work at a fast pace, supplying high volume, quality, effective skincare products.
We are looking for a confident, successful Sales Executive - a go getter with fantastic people skills. You must be self-driven, organised and excited to build your sales career. You must be able to work in small team and cherish the opportunity to grow with the company. This is fantastic opportunity with amazing commission – you will get out what you put in!
This role is both office and field based, and requires a good understanding of specific retailer requirements, as you will working with leading retailers in the UK and globally.
You will work closely with the Directors as part of a small, dedicated team where everyone plays a key role. B2B sales experience is essential, and you must have a passion for Skincare & Beauty products. You must have access to your own vehicle and a full driving license.
Typical Daily Tasks Include:
* Making Sales!
* Researching and identifying new business opportunities in a variety of sectors.
* Researching and identifying relevant retail buyers and creating effective sales plan.
* Visiting retail head offices and selling in our brands of products.
* Building and managing customer relationships.
* Planning and managing accounts to maximise growth.
* Managing profitability to balance maximum sales with maximum profits.
* Being involved in the entire process until delivery of products.
* Working with the buying team to identify new products, trends and exciting new ranges.
* Giving feedback on product designs and offering suggestions.
Requirements:
* Experience in selling FMCG preferable but not essential.
* Excellent understanding of English language both written and verbal.
* Fantastic communication skills and confidence in speaking to people at different levels of seniority.
* Competent in Mathematics and mental arithmetic.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Full Driving license with access to your own vehicle.
* Able to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
* Highly driven, tenacious, and a confident go-getter.
* Be able to spend time away at occasional trade shows, both in the UK and Europe.
