O ensure completion of timely, accurate, valid and reliable effectiveness & audit projects in line with the clinical audit programme and other requirements. Assist with the development of clinical effectiveness & audit across the Organisation. To work with Divisional colleagues to ensure clinical audit work programmes are in place and completed. Co-ordinate and lead on clinical audit projects to meet external requirements e.g. CQC, National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme. Co-ordinate and lead on clinical audit projects to meet Trust priorities. Work closely with the Clinical Governance Team Leader to embed processes and completion of clinical audits within Divisions/Specialties. Ensure high quality records are maintained within the central clinical audit database and produce reports for various Trust Groups/Committees (i.e.Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Group, Divisional meetings, Quality Committee, Clinical Improvement Group) and within Trust publications (i.e. Annual Quality Report). Work with the Clinical Governance Team Manager to develop and implement clinical audit projects, including action planning, using Trust approved processes. Co-ordinate the review and assessment of NICE guidance. Undertake/facilitate various aspects of the audit process: Completion of project plan and summary report identification of standards define aims & objectives audit methodology and sample using the most appropriate method design of data collection tools and surveys data collection database design data analysis reporting and presentation of results action planning change implementation re-audit Ensure Clinical Audit representation at designated Divisional audit/Clinical Governance meetings as appropriate. Contribute to Trust clinical audit training.
