ARC Administrator/ Receptionistbased inthe Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (ARC)St Marks Hospital Maidenhead
Full Time- 37.5hours/weekMonday – Friday(reasonableflexible workingmaybe considered).Permanent position.

The Administration and Clerical team arethe first point of contactforpatients accessing our services and are valued staff members that arefundamental in supporting the clinical staff.

You willbe responsible forgreeting patients in person, taking telephone calls and booking in appointmentsfor our patients.
The post will be based at St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead though some cross site working may berequired. There is free parking on all sites.

• To meet and greet the patientsand visitorsas they arrive to the clinic, ensuring theyfeel welcomed,providing assistanceand information whenrequired.This includes allaying fears and anxieties that patients may have and organising on-going appointments.
• To ensure receptionremainstidy,organisedand presentableat all times.
• Manage bookingsand adjust appointments as required. This will include telephone calls and sending out letters.
• Use of IT systems tomanage bookings andensure effective communication between internal and external staff members
• Tobe responsible fordealing with patientsalwaysmaintaininga helpful and professional approach.
• Ensuring confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation isofa high standard.
• To bebased at theARC St Marks Hospital Maidenhead, but the post-holder will need tosupportacross all 3ofour sites (St Marks Hospital Maidenhead, Upton Hospital Slough,and Bracknell) when cover for annual leave, sickness, and other service requirements may be needed.
• To communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties.
1. Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to reprioritise own work and to ensure tasks are delivered on time
