Position: Design Technology Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join a thriving school in Leeds for a long-term role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ learning, helping them to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Develop students' practical skills in various areas of design, including product design, electronics, and textiles.
* Prepare and assess student coursework and projects.
* Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams.
* Contribute to the development of the Design Technology curriculum and resources.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student creativity and problem-solving.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to enhance the quality of education.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A passion for Design Technology and the ability to inspire students.
* Strong knowledge and experience in teaching Design Technology, including experience with different materials, tools, and techniques.
* Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
* Experience with GCSE Design Technology is preferred, but not essential.
