Commercial Property Solicitor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Kettering Area
Working: Monday to Friday
Holidays: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000
Experience Required: 3+ years PQE
A leading regional law firm with a strong reputation in the East Midlands is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing team in the Kettering office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced legal professional to take on a broad and varied caseload, while also contributing to the development of the firm's presence in the local commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse caseload of commercial property matters including:
Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
Landlord and tenant matters
Lease renewals and assignments
Development and investment work
Secured lending and refinancing transactions
Acting for a broad client base including SMEs, property developers, landlords, tenants, and investors.
Providing clear, practical legal advice with a strong focus on commercial outcomes.
Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and ancillary documentation.
Business Development:
Build strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
Proactively engage in networking and marketing activities to grow the commercial property client base in the Kettering area.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to identify and pursue cross-referral opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 3 years PQE in Commercial Property law, with solid technical knowledge and case handling experience.
Strong client-facing and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational and time management skills.
A commercial mindset and willingness to get involved in business development activities.
