We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Recruitment Coordinator who is motivated in managing and delivering a pre-employment check service to newly appointed candidates, ensuring these essential checks are completed in a safe and timely way. This is a permanent position for 37.5 hours per week.
This is a high volume, fast-paced role and you will be working to tight timescales to ensure we meet the needs of the service and deliver an excellent candidate experience.
You will need to have customer service and administrative experience, strong communication skills, and thrive in a busy working environment. You will need to be highly organised with a flexible approach to meet demand and ensure delivery of set KPIs while making proactive decisions to improve outcomes for the customer.
In this role, you will facilitate the full recruitment cycle from supporting the creation of adverts to booking new starters onto induction.
Main Duties of the Job
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will:
* Co-ordinate the pre-employment check process for both internal/external candidates and unpaid placements.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from advertisement to appointment.
* Adhere to and possess specialist knowledge of the NHS Employment check standards and compliance with appropriate employment legislation.
* Communicate with and support hiring managers and candidates over the phone, face-to-face, and via email.
* Deliver a timely, accurate, and high-quality customer-focused service.
Previous experience in recruitment administration is desirable for this role, and the ideal candidate will have experience in using systems such as NHS Jobs, Trac Jobs, and ESR (Electronic Staff Record); however, full training will be provided. You will work closely with recruiting managers and the Recruitment Leads, building strong, effective working relationships with these stakeholders.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent experience.
* NVQ 3 in Customer Service and Administration or equivalent experience.
* ECDL.
Experience
* Administration experience within a customer-focused environment.
* Previous NHS experience.
* Previous Recruitment or HR experience.
